The MovNat System focuses on teaching the most effective, efficient and adaptable ways to move in various “real world” scenarios. Such scenarios provide numerous variables including differences in: terrain, distance, weight, weather, surfaces, etc. Each variable increases the complexity of any movement skill that may be required of us. MovNat aims to equip each practitioner with the ability to readily adapt to these variables, while staying mindful, efficient, and effective with every movement. The MovNat system emphasizes the cultivation of movement skills over conditioning- focusing on developing holistic functional movement patterns. The MovNat training system starts with efficiency as its foundation. As the quality of each movement skill improves, the mover can progressively increase other aspects such as intensity, volume, and complexity. Practicing these skills with progressively higher demands allows for greater and greater conditioning, better preparing each mover with endless opportunities for adventure.
