DESCRIPTION:Each month\, we donate 10% of a day’s sales to support a local nonprofit’s work. Shop on Tuesday\, May 22\, to support Homeward Bound’s REACH Fund. \nCall it civic pride or mountain spirit\, but we think supporting the work of those maintaining trails\, cleaning waterways\, connecting youth to outdoors\, and doing other awesome things to keep WNC a place we can all enjoy…well\, it’s the right thing to do. As the area’s first outdoor store\, we’ve enjoyed the support of our friends and neighbors since 1964. \nHomeward Bound recently launched an ambitious goal of ending chronic homelessness in Buncombe County. As Western North Carolina grows in popularity\, we feel a responsibility to ensure that no one is left outside. Homeward Bound’s REACH Fund will tackle this objective through the support of real estate professionals\, members of associated industries\, home buyers and sellers\, and businesses community-wide.
