DESCRIPTION:\nEach month\, we donate 10% of a day’s sales to support a local nonprofit’s work. Shop on Tuesday\, June 19\, to support Friends of the Smokies. \nCall it civic pride or mountain spirit\, but we think supporting the work of those maintaining trails\, cleaning waterways\, connecting youth to outdoors\, and doing other awesome things to keep WNC a place we can all enjoy…well\, it’s the right thing to do. As the area’s first outdoor store\, we’ve enjoyed the support of our friends and neighbors since 1964. \n\n\nFriends of Great Smoky Mountains National Park assists the National Park Service in its mission to preserve and protect the Great Smoky Mountains National Park by raising funds and public awareness\, and providing volunteers for needed projects. \n\n\nRSVP on Facebook >> \n\n
